Meet the Barrons: Derek, Karyn, Dawson (15) and Kendall(13)

Pastor Derek Barron has been leading worship at Lakeside for 9 years with his wife, Karyn. Their boys are both musically gifted and are very active in Encounter - our youth ministry. 
Apart from leading worship, they love spending time on the water at Lake Sinclair and playing music. 


Zeke Lupin from the worship team says this about Pastor Derek and Karyn:
"I just want to say from the bottom of my heart and speaking for the entire worship team- thank you! You guys are the most amazing leaders we could ever have. Thank you for always encouraging us, pushing us, and leading us. Y'all never fail to put a smile on our faces we appreciate and love both of you!"


We are so thankful to have Pastor Derek and Karyn and their boys at Lakeside! Not only has he led our church in worship for 9 years but when given the opportunity, he has taught our church about biblical worship and why it is so important in our relationship with God. We love and appreciate all that you and your family pour out on a weekly basis!
